A couple of people knew about it before, the owner of the café, and a few members of the
Csapnivalo's editorial crew. It was supposed to be an action out of the blue, and basically it
turned out to be that. First the plan was to show all the nominee's trailers but since the
Csapnivalo Awards had 22 category it seemed wiser to keep it short and so it happened.
People sitting at their tables, playing chess and drinking coke realized fast what was going
on since this café was one of the sampling places where like two days before some flyers
were placed, the voting forms. The projector was changing frames kinda fast and in the end
the people present asked for a repetition so that they could "have the tension of choice
again" -as they said. It was a nice afternoon with coke and hot chocolate.
As for the winners, the Csapnivalo Awards even had a tie. A last minute e-mail just
changed the whole situation about the Best actor in a leading role, and in the end not only
Hugh Grant but Hugh Grant & Keanu Reeves won this category. Next year this 20 minutes
long celebration could be much longer ... -since it worked fine.
